Pashmina Scarves and Shawls

We love silk. We love it so much that it took us 6 months to research everything about it and decide on the type of silk we were going to offer you. We even travelled to India, to 4 different locations to see for ourselves how everything is made. This is where we also found wool, cashmere and the world of mixed textile.

On this site you will find 5 types of scarves:

Mulberry silk scarves

Made from 'traditional" silk. They are light and have the characteristic sheen to them. What is different about them is that they are either woven or dyed by hand and, depending on the supplier, are either sourced at a women's co-operative or a fairtrade company. Each scarf can be traced to a particular artisan, each is a labour of love that passes a strict quality control both in India and in Spain.

Woollen scarves

Made from woven wool fibres in different textures with or without embroidery. Each scarf is dyed and embroidered by hand, giving work to artisans and honouring long-standing traditions. Each scarf is light and very soft and passes strict quality control.

Cashmere scarves

Cashmere is a type of wool obtained from mountain goats that adapted to high altitudes. Their coat is very soft and insulates very well. Scarves made from cashmere are very light, soft and while thin, can keep you warm in the harshest conditions. Cared for properly, they will last for generations. Our cashmere scarves are woven and dyed by hand and pass strict quality control.

Eri silk

Eri silk is often referred to as the fabric of peace as the process does not involve the killing of the silk worm. Moths leave the cocoon as soon as it is ready to be spun. The fabric is popular in North East of India and some parts of China and Japan. The texture of the fabric is like coarse, fine and dense. It is very strong, durable and has elasticity. Due to its thermal property it is warm in winters and cool in summer. Our suppliers do most of the gathering and weaving by hand and the designs are rooted in their rich tradition and heritage.

Mixed fabrics

The collection of scarves made from a mix of silk, wool and linen is perfect for summer evenings and days at the office when the air conditioner is high. Each is light and elegant and made and dyed by hand.
